“I am looking forward to the opportunity. I am excited to be in the lucky final 15 member. I would like to thank my parents and my coach. It will be a good exposure trip for me. It’s a dream come true,” Nikhil said, who was also the captain of the college team in this tournament.

In the final SGGS College registered a one-sided 4-0 win over Kolkata college.

Nikhil has represented Chandigarh state team in every age group from under-14 to senior nationals (Santosh Trophy) till now. He was also the captain of the state under-19 and under-21 teams.

I am sure this experience will come in good stead in my football career,” Nikhil said.
