The department of administrative reforms and public grievances, Punjab, has invited nominations from all departments, boards, corporations and authorities of the state government for the e-governance national awards for 2013-14.
Giving this information on Monday, a spokesman for the department said these awards were conferred in collaboration with the department of information technology, central government, for promoting excellence in the implementation of e-governance initiatives.
He said these awards would be presented in categories of excellence in government process, re-engineering, exemplary re-use of ICT-based solutions, outstanding performance in citizen-centric service delivery, innovative use of technology in e-governance, innovative use of the ICT (information and communication technology) by public sector undertakings (PSUs) for customers' benefit and the best government portal.
He said nominations could be send to the department by July 31. The awards would be presented during the 17th national conference on e-governance to be held in January 2014. Information can be obtained from the website, www.darpg.nic.in.
