The members of Unemployed Welfare Organisation wrote to the vice-chancellor of Panjab University (PU) and Congress MP Pawan Kumar Bansal demanding to extend the last date of admission to MSc in fashion designing.

President Krishan Gopal Jindal said the last date of admission of the course was 21 August, but the result of BSc at Annamalai University and many other institutes has not been declared yet, and seats of this course are lying vacant at PU.

The members claimed that due to delay in results of these universities, they were unable to take admission. They appealed the V-C and Bansal to look into the matter and to extend the date of admission to September 15.
