Pak Punjab CM to visit native village in Tarn Taran

Pakistan Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif, who is arriving in Punjab on a three-day visit from December 13, will visit his native village Jatti Umra in Tarn Taran district on December 15.

Shahbaz will be the chief guest on the concluding function of the kabaddi tournament in Ludhiana on December 14, and will pay obeisance at the Golden Temple while leaving for Pakistan on Sunday.

Sharif will fly to Amritsar with his family, and will also visit Badal, the native village of Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal.

The Punjab chief minister will host dinner in his honour on his arrival in SAS Nagar on Friday. On Saturday, before taking part in the concluding function of the kabaddi cup, Sharif will interact with industrialists in Ludhiana, visit Punjab Agricultural University, will be taken to the computerised fard kendra and will be shown a sewage treatment plant in Ludhiana.

Shahbaz, 62, the younger brother of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, will visit his native village for the first time. Nawaz had visited the village in 1982.
