Pak writers call on Punjab VS speaker

The Pakistan chapter of Foundation of SAARC writers and literature led by Nisar A.Chaudhary on Thursday called on Punjab Vidhan Sabha speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal.


The 16-member delegation was in India to attend a South Asian Fraternity Peace Conference in Delhi, which was attended by their counterparts from all the SAARC nations, aspokesman here stated.

Atwal appreciated the enterprising effort of Chaudhary in understanding the potential of young children and involving them in their peace initiative.

Atwal was also all praise for young spokespersons Aliha Nasrullah and Sabahat Zakriya, who proposed practical solutions to the prevalent visa problems among India and Pakistan, maintaining trade and cultural relations and ways to solve issues like water sharing.
