Aam Aadmi Party candidate Gul Panag started her day on the polling day at 5am, going around the city, with colonies her focus, where she interacted with party workers stationed at polling booths. Accompanied by her close relatives, she did not ask anyone to vote for her as would have been the violation of model code of conduct.

Her route plan started from Sectors 39, 40, Palsora village, Sector 56, 54, Kajheri Maloya and

Dhanas. She urged her party workers to provide a voting list to all those approaching the polling stations.

Over the day, it was noticeable that AAP workers tended to concentrate more on influencing the rural voter than on the urban electorate.
