Panjab University's entrepreneurship summit from February 6

To encourage and promote entrepreneurship among the youth, Panjab University (PU) is going to organise a three-day entrepreneurship summit 'Udyami 2015' from February 6. The event will be organised by the entrepreneurship development cell (EDC) of the University institute of engineering (UIET).

Open to all students and working professionals, there will be speaker sessions, panel discussions, webinars by reputed business and social personalities, a wide array of competitions like problomania 2.0, bid for your own company, extemplan and many more with prizes worth `1.5 lakh. An informative workshop on stock markets explaining its nuances to a layman and a session on global business will be conducted by the popular international community AIESEC.

Start-ups and students with fresh business ideas will get to pitch in front of investors and a chance to be crowned as the 'Best startup of the event'. Industry professionals are invited to share their problems and work together with research scholars, postgraduate students for innovative solutions, the university said.
