Ahead of the assembly polls, former MP Susheel Indora has quit the Haryana Janhit Congress Party. Before the recent Lok Sabha polls, Indora had left the Congress to join the HJC. He may join the BJP or Congress again.
Indora, however, said every party had used him but now he want to contest election as an Independent.
To a query on contesting from Kalanwali (reserve) seat in the upcoming assembly elections, Indora said there is still time and he wants to discuss it with his supporters before taking any step.
Three days ago Indora was seen with HJC leader Renuka Bishnoi in Mallenka village in Sirsa at a public meeting, but on Monday he sent a notice to HJC supremo Kuldeep Bishnoi that he is quitting the party.
Indora started his political career in 1996, when he contested Lok Sabha election from Sirsa (reserve) seat on the Indian National Lok Dal ticket. He won the election and in 2005, INLD fielded him from Ellenabad segment in the Vidhan Sabha polls and he won again.
In 2009, Indora did not succeed in getting INLD ticket and just before the Vidhan Sabha polls he quit the INLD and joined the Congress.
He fought Vidhan Sabha polls in 2009 from Kalanwali (reserve) segment but was defeated by Akali Dal candidate Charanjeet Singh Channi.
In the recent Lok Sabha elections, Indora again changed his party and joined the HJC. He contested the election on the symbol of 'Tractor', but was defeated by INLD candidate Charanjeet Singh Channi.
