Opposition parties, including mainstream Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) on Monday staged a walkout from the assembly on different issues.
PDP MLAs Abdul Gaffar Sofi and Abdul Rehman Veeri staged a walkout from the House for not getting "satisfactory replies" from the government on questions raised by them during the question hour.
The legislators alleged that the government was misleading the House and not in a position to disclose the facts.
BJP and JKNPP legislators had also raised the issue of custodian property. Not satisfied with government's reply, they walked out of the assembly.
Later during the zero hour, the PDP created ruckus and jumped to the well demanding time from the speaker to raise the issues "concerning the common man".
