When HT dialled that number, it sounded 'this number doesn't exist'. However, another number 8872500500, termed as the hotline with a message 'Call if anyone is having a stroke' in the PGIMER website, was also of no help as despite calling repeatedly at this number nobody took the calls.

However, the PGIMER site claims the hotline number should be contacted to inform the PGI stroke team about a stroke or a brain attack.
