Showing zero tolerance to two hours pen and tool down strike observed on Tuesday and Wednesday by PGI Employees’ Union and Medical Technologist Association today PGI Administration has issued show-cause notice to employees who remained absent during the strike. In the notice, PGI administration has sought explanation from all these employees that why they had remained absent from the work without taking any leave.
Even foreseeing the authority attitude towards the strike, some of the employees joined strike by taking leave. Showing quick reaction to the strike, the PGI administration delivered these notices in the house of a few employees on the very evening of the strike. "We have sought the explanation of those who remained absent and waiting for their reply," said, Dr AK Gupta, Medical Superintendent of PGI. He also said that an appropriate under the guidelines of Court will be taken against those who will be found guilty.
"We are ready with answers to theses notices. The question is that they are issuing these notices due to personal grudges. It was all India strike we were part of that," said Ashwani Munjal, general secretary of the union.
