Photography exhibition at Panjab Kala Bhawan

Nature's perfection and man's precision. Nature's abandon and man's detailing. Nature's glory and man's magnificence. All displayed side by side in perfect harmony. This is the Foto-2014, a photography exhibition which boasts of 72 statements of aesthetic caught by the unerring lens of a camera.

The exhibition, which opened to the public on Friday at the Punjab Kala Bhawan art gallery, has the work of 26 photographers, both amateurs and professionals.The exhibition, organised by the Photographic Society of Chandigarh, was inaugurated by Vivek Atrey, IAS.

From Navneet Saxena's photos of architectural excellence of the buildings of Paris and Singapore to Subhash Sapru's photos which capture nature's splendour at Moon Lake and Spiti Valley to perfection, exhibition has some of the best photos on display.

Besides Saxena and Sapru, photographs by Deep Bhatia, Yashinder Bahga, Dinesh Verma, SS Bhamra, Sanjay Kaushal, Pradeep Mahajan, Sanjeev Kumar, Shubh Mohan Singh, Kulbhushan Kanwar, Vicky Gharu, Jagjit Singh, Hemant Chauhan, Gurpreet Singh, Dr.Palash Majumdar, SChandan, Vijendra Trighatia, Jaskiran Singh Batra, Avi Kiran Sidhu,Abhay Iqubal Singh Bedi, Kailash Sharma, Ashok Kaushal, Vikram Joy, Shirin Seth and Anil Kumar Arora are also on display. The exhibition is open till September 30.
