President to award PGI health worker

Sunita Sharma, female multipurpose worker, School of Public Health, Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has been selected for National Florence Nightingale Award 2014.

President of India Pranab Mukherjee will her the award at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi next month.

Sunita Sharma has been working as a health worker for the past 18 years in an urban resettlement colony in the Urban Health and Training Centre (UHTC) under department of community medicine, School of Public Health.
