Princess of Kutlehar missing

The princess of Kutlehar in Una district is missing. The teenager (name withheld) studying in Carmel Convent school in Sector 9 of Chandigarh went missing on October 11 from her school. Kutlehar falls under Hamirpur constituency in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

The sources in the police assert efforts are on to trace the 16- year-old girl belonging to the royal family of Himachal Pradesh. Raids are being conducted at Shimla and Kullu Manali to trace the missing girl. Her parents have been taking up the matter with the Chandigarh Police and consulted legal luminaries in the matter.

Even though more than a week has lapsed since the plus one student went missing from her school, the Chandigarh Police have failed to track the girl. The family also gets royalty every month from Himachal Pradesh Government. The girl had gone missing since October 11 from outside her school.

The case of abduction was registered on October 15. The police had booked Inderjit Singh Malik for allegedly abducting the girl and his relative Dr Sangeeta of PGI for allegedly conniving with youngster, on the complaint of girl's father Rupinderpal Singh. Acting on the complaint of Rupinderpal, a resident of Sector 23, the police registered a case of kidnapping against Inderjit Singh Malik and Sangeeta, a resident of Orbit Apartment 1, VIP Road, and Zirakpur. Apprehending arrest Dr Sangeeta has moved an application of interim bail in the district courts.

The police also went searching at the 22-year-old Inderjit’s residence in Zirakpur and found the house locked. The police are also tracking the mobile phones of the girl.
