PSEB to conduct career orientation sessions for Class 11, 12

To increase the employability skills of students, the Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) would conduct a special career and placement orientation sessions in 2015-16 for the students of Class 11 and 12 in Punjab.

This was stated by the chairman, PSEB, Dr Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal while inaugurating 26th Aryans Job Fest on Wednesday at Aryans Campus. Chairman, Aryans College of Engineering (ACE), Dr Anshu Kataria presided over the event.

Dhaliwal further added that under the leadership and guidance of Punjab education minister, Dr Daljit Singh Cheema the board would also start 12 new skill based vocational courses from 2015-16 in Punjab. These courses would emphasise on integrating and improving the status of vocational and technical education thereby providing better placement opportunities to the students in Punjab.

Students enthusiastically participated in the fest and many received offer letters by well known companies.
