Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has invited applications for five-year integrated courses of BA and BCom LLB (Hons) at the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) on PU Campus, Chandigarh, and its regional centres at Hoshiarpur and Ludhiana on Thursday.
The PU spokesman said the prospectus and application form for the common entrance test (CET)-UG 2014 has been made available on the website uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Students can apply till April 25.
Admissions for the BA and BCom LLB (Hons) will be based on CET-UG 2014 and marks in qualifying examination (+2). The qualifying examination (+2) and CET-UG will each carry 50% weightage. The CET-UG 2014 will be conducted on May 18.
Apart from foreign nationals and NRIs, there are 120 seats each for these two five-year integrated courses BA LLB (Hons) and BCom LLB (Hons) on the PU campus. There will be 87 seats of five-year integrated course of BA LLB (Hons) at University Institute of Laws, PU regional centre, Ludhiana.
A total of 60 seats will be available for five-year integrated course of BA LLB (Hons) at UILS, Swami Sarvanand Giri, PU regional centre, Hoshiarpur.
The last date for submission of online application to generate bank challan is April 25 and the last date for submission of fee in
any branch of State Bank of India is April 28 upto 4pm.
The last date for submission of fee details and uploading photograph, signature with the rest of the information on the website is May 1. E-admit cards will be available on the website on May 10.
There will be no physical communication for this purpose, PU spokesman informed.
