Public relations body gets new management panel

The Chandigarh chapter of Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) elected a new management committee for 2014-2016.

The Chandigarh chapter of Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) elected a new management committee for 2014-2016.

The Chandigarh chapter PRCI, is a body of professionals involved in public relations, corporate communications, advertising, media consultants and academia, elected Shaan PR CEO Aneesh Bhanot the new chairman and Uma Sharma, who, until recently was with the Punjab department of public relations, the new vice-chairman.

Amit Roy, the CEO of iCatchers PR, is the general secretary; Sudeep Rawat, CEO, Transfast PR is joint secretary and Pavitar Singh, PRO, Defence, is the new treasurer.

The new executive committee also includes Kiran Joshi (Conversations PR), Aditya Sharma (Manthan Communications), Megha Sandhu (Fortis Hospital, SAS Nagar), Sohan Rawat (Impact Media PR) and Vinod Kumar Verma (Shiv PR).

Former chairman Renuka Salwan has been promoted as chairperson for North Zone, PRCI while CJ Singh is nominated as the vice-president of the PCRI national executive.
