Punjab, Australia for promoting trade relations

India-Australia Strategic Alliance (IASA) on Tuesday said it has designated Punjab industry minister Madan Mohan Mittal as an Ambassador for the promotion of trade and cultural ties between Punjab and Australia, said an official release.

India-Australia Strategic Alliance (IASA) on Tuesday said it has designated Punjab Industry Minister Madan Mohan Mittal as an Ambassador for the promotion of trade and cultural ties between Punjab and Australia, said an official release.

Jagvinder Singh Virk, Chairman, IASA who today called on the industry minister, held discussion on various issues including skill development, entrepreneurship, bilateral co-operation in industry, commerce, dairy farming, food processing and mining.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister emphasised on increasing trade relations between Punjab and Australia.

He said the state government is fully committed to encourage business,cultural and educational exchanges with Australia.
