Punjab: Four IAS, 5 PCS officers transferred

The Punjab government on Thursday transferred four IAS and five PCS officers. The IAS officers with fresh portfolios are Rakesh Verma (secretary, technical education), Gurpreet Kaur Sapra (special secretary, agriculture), Kumar Amit (SDM, Malout, and SDM, Gidderbaha) and Kumar Saurabh Raj (SDM, Kapurthala).

The Punjab government on Thursday transferred four IAS and five PCS officers.

The IAS officers with fresh portfolios are Rakesh Verma (secretary, technical education), Gurpreet Kaur Sapra (special secretary, agriculture), Kumar Amit (SDM, Malout, and SDM, Gidderbaha) and Kumar Saurabh Raj (SDM, Kapurthala).

Among other IAS officers, Ludhiana municipal corporation commissioner Rahul Tiwari has been given the additional charge of chairman, Improvement Trust, Ludhiana, in addition to chief administrator of the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA), while Seema Jain, posted as secretary, science, technology and environment, has been given the additional charges of secretary, personnel, and secretary, vigilance department.

The PCS officers with fresh portfolios are Shivdular Singh Dhillon (additional excise and taxation commissioner), Daljit Singh (additional director, administration, Punjab Mandi Board), Amrit Kaur Gill (deputy excise and taxation commissioner, Ludhiana), Rishi Pal Singh (ADC, general, Kapurthala) and Darbara Singh (district transport officer, Hoshiarpur).
