Punjab govt transfers 5 police officers

The Punjab government on Sunday transferred and posted five police officers, including senior superintendents of police of Taran Taran, Moga and Gurdaspur districts.


The ADGP (security) Dinkar Gupta will hold additional charge of ADGP law and order and ADGP traffic. While Surjeet Singh was again posted as SSP Moga, RajJit Singh Hundal has been shifted from Gurdaspur to Tarn Taran as SSP and Kamaljit Singh transferred from Taran Taran to commandent 5th batalion, Bahadurgarh. Pathankot SSP Surinder Kumar Kalia will also hold the additional charge of SSP Gurdaspur, it is learnt.
