Punjab transfers 4 IAS, 2 PCS officers

The Punjab government today transferred four IAS and two PCS officers with immediate effect, appointing senior IAS officer Sarvjit Singh as the chief administrator of Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA).

The Punjab government on Thursday transferred four IAS and two PCS officers with immediate effect, appointing senior IAS officer Sarvjit Singh as the chief administrator of Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA).


Sarvjit would, in addition, continue as ex officio director, town and country planning, government spokesman said.

Kirandeep Singh Bhullar has been posted as MD, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation, Chandigarh, in addition to his charge of commissioner, Roopnagar Division. Bhullar replaces Ashok Kumar Gupta, who has now been posted as secretary, coordination, and secretary, general administration.

Arunjit Singh Miglani has been transferred as registrar co-operative societies.

Technical education additional secretary Adapa Karthik has been given the additional charge of additional secretary, local bodies.

The two PCS officers with new charge include Manvesh Singh Sidhu, special principal secretary to the deputy chief minister and chief administrator, PUDA and Manjit Singh Brar, additional chief administrator, GMADA.
