The rally now would be held on January 24 at Ranjit Avenue here, District Congress Committee (rural) president Gurjit Singh Aujla confirmed, adding: "Looking at the heavy rain prediction, we did not want to take any risk. The Android app as well as the weather department confirmed the forecast, and after meeting, we conveyed it to Captain Amarinder Singh."
Amarinder's announcing the "Lalkar Rally" has started a lot of activity in the local Congress. As he is also local parliamentarian, the party unit in Amritsar is keen to make the event a success.
