Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions will set up a Global Talent Academy in Bengaluru to help students graduating from various institutions develop their skills according to the requirements of the industry.
Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra said that studies have shown that it takes companies six to nine months to make campus hired students ready to be deployed, especially in the IT sector. Nearly 32% of graduates, especially from the norther n region, are particularly at a disadvantage due to lack of fluency in English and communication skills.
“To bridge this gap, Global Talent Academy is being set by the Rayat Bahra Group, in collaboration with QSpiders premier software testing and training institute. The group will provide the infrastructure for the academy while QSpiders will proffer leading experts from the industry to train students,” he said.
Students taking training at the academy would be assured a placement with a minimum annual salary package of 3.5 lakh, he said.
“It is a unique concept and students of Rayat Group would be offered discounts of up to 95% for the training,” he said.
Bahra also said that All Terra in Car, developed by Rayart-Bahra students, was adjudicated the first in Asia in the US Baja Race last month. “This is fourth time in row that RBGI students designed cars have bagged top positions in inter national events,” he said.
