Relief material distributed among flood-hit people

Subhas Kranti Manch and Prabh Aasra, shelter home for the destitute, Kurali, organised relief work in flood affected areas of Kashmir on Tuesday.

A team of Netaji Subhas Kranti Manch led by it's founder VP Saini and Prabh Asra led by it's head Shamsher Singh distributed 20 tonnes of material, including wheat, rice, sugar, pulses, salt, clothes and blankets among the affected people.

Saini said the team from Rupnagar along with the youth from Srinagar conducted an extensive survey of the worst affected areas of Srinagar and other villages for distributing relief material.

He said the team examined 1,500 houses in more than 50 localities and villages. Kashmir, particularly Srinagar, the heaven on the earth, was completely devastated and turned into hell, he said.

Saini appealed to the people to generously come to the help of people of Kashmir.
