Residents help J&K-based NGO collect woollens for flood victims

We Might, a Jammu and Kashmir based NGO took an initiative to collect relief material for flood victims in J&K. In association with city-based non-government organisation (NGO) Agaaz, bakery Hot Breads and Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE), the group organised a camp in Sarabha Nagar to collect woollens for flood victims.

Mohsin Iqbal from We Might said, “Winters have already set in the valley and flood victims having lost everything are in a bad state.”

Giving credit to the district administration, which had contributed a lot to the flood victims till date, Mohsin said people in J&K were hoping more help from the philanthropists of city.

At the same time, the city residents responded positively to the cause and contributed generously.

DC Rajat Agarwal promised to extend every possible help to the group. He said, “We are already sending relief material including blankets for the flood victims. The administration is ready to tie up with individuals and NGOs seeking help for flood victims.”
