Haryana police have seized fake currency notes with a face value of Rs eight lakh from one Rajesh of Putthi village in the district.
This is the second haul from the accused in three days.
The police had earlier this week intercepted his car on a tip-off and seized fake currency of Rs four lakh.
In the second haul, the police seized fake currency of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 denomination.
Rajesh is in police custody for interrogation. His accomplice Ramphal, who was travelling in the car when the first haul was made, is in judicial custody.
The police have found that he had been receiving and making telephone calls to a person in England.
