The ruling SAD-BJP government swept municipal corporation polls in SAS Nagar by winning 23 seats of the total 50 wards. Congress and Independents got equal share by winning 13 seats each. The result for ward 47 will be declared on Friday in the Punjab and Haryana high court for SAD candidate Sukhdev Singh Patwari who had moved court after his candidature was rejected. He though got relief but now result for his ward will be declared in sealed cover in court. Unofficially sources claim that SAD candidate Patwari already won from the said ward.
