Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Ambala Lok Sabha seat Rattan Lal Kataria never misses a chance to take a dig at Kumari Selja, the former MP, who left the race 'without fighting'.

"Selja leaving the race is an important issue here. She knew that she was losing by a big margin. Then came Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) president Ashok Tanwar. He tested the waters and found that he would also lose. So, he also opted out. For me, it is a one-sided election now," said Kataria to HT. Selja was an MP here for 10 years but did nothing. I had fought against her misrule for 10 years," he said.

On March 24, at Yamunanagar he had said that when the people of the constituency wanted answers, Selja quit the position and left for Rajya Sabha.

On Sunday, while addressing advocates at Panchkula, he said that the Congress in the last 10 years of its rule, had done almost nothing and all the money had been drained out to Rohtak, the home district of the CM.
