Rajender Singh Shah, father of Haryana financial commissioner and principal secretary health Navraj Sandhu died here today. He was 86. He is survived by a daughter a son and grandchildren.
Shah had served the indian information service in many capacities and had attained superannuation from All India Radio (AIR) as a senior correspondent and incharge regional news unit in 1984.
Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed grief over the passing away of Shah. In a condolence message Hooda said Rajender Singh Shah would be long remembered for his qualities of head and heart.
He also conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
