Punjab-based social worker Baba Kashmira Singh, who runs Swami Gurbachan Lal Trust in Punjab, on Saturday said he would campaign for the BJP in Haryana to ensure defeat of the INLD that has a tie-up with Shiromani Akali Dal in the poll-bound state, as they allegedly failed to check drug menace in Haryana.

Accusing the SAD-BJP government of failing to check the drug menace in Punjab, he said only BJP government can effectively check the menace in Haryana. Asked why he or the BJP did not talk to the SAD leaders in Punjab, Singh said they did take up the matter with ruling party leaders but to no avail.
