Solanki appreciates homely environment at Shishu Greh in P'kula
Haryana governor Kaptan Singh Solanki on Wednesday inspected the Shishu Greh in Sector 15, Panchkula.Solanki inspected the living rooms and playroom of the children besides the kitchen. Interacting with the children, Solanki asked them whether they were getting milk, to which they replied in affirmative.

Shishu Greh secretary Santosh Atreja told the governor that proper medical care and routine health checkup was provided to the children.
Satisfied by the "good" environment, he said: "I am happy the children are growing in a natural family atmosphere."
The governor said it was heartening to see that there was a long waiting list of people wanting to adopt the children.
The governor asked the secretary, Santosh Atreja, to give homely upbringing and proper guidance to the children to make them self-reliant and useful citizens of society. He also congratulated the entire staff of Shishu Greh for extending selfless service.
