Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will launch the dal-roti scheme in the state from Panipat on Tuesday, while ministers in charge of district public relations and grievance committees will roll out schemes from their respective districts.
About half of the state's population would benefit from the scheme, a government spokesperson said. Finance minister Harmohinder Singh Chattha would launch the scheme in Ambala, power minister Capt Ajay Singh Yadav would launch in Mewat, industries minister Randeep Singh Surjewala in Karnal, revenue minister Mahender Pratap Singh in Palwal and public health engineering minister Kiran Chaudhery in Mahendergarh.
The spokesperson said agriculture minister Paramvir Singh will launch the scheme in Sirsa district, education minister Geeta Bhukkal in Rohtak, health minister Rao Narender Singh in Bhiwani, cooperation minister Satpal Sangwan in Jind, minister of state for labour and employment Shiv Charan Lal Sharma in Rewari and minister of state for sports Sukhbir Kataria in Hisar.
Chief parliamentary secretaries (CPS) Anita Yadav will launch the scheme in Jhajjar, Rao Dan Singh in Faridabad, Dharmabir Singh and Jaiveer Singh in Sonepat district, Prahlad Singh Gillankhera in Kurukshetra, Ram Kishan Fauji in Yamunanagar, Sultan Singh in Panchkula, Ram Kishan Gujjar in Kaithal and Vinod Bhayana in Fatehabad.
Deputy chairperson of high-powered committee on 20-point programme Phool Chand Mullana will launch the scheme in Gurgaon district.
