Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday directed the officers to start a publicity campaign of different developmental schemes and programmes being carried out by the state government for the welfare of people.
Hooda was presiding over a review meeting of developmental works with the officers of the district administration in Panchkula on Friday. “There are a lot of schemes and programmes and the same are being implemented properly by the administration but publicity of the schemes is not being done at the desired level,” he said. Hooda directed to start publicity work so that benefit could reach to each and every beneficiary in a time bound manner.
While reviewing the plots allotted to eligible persons under Mahatma Gandhi Grameen Basti Yojna, Hooda enquired about the possession offer to the beneficiaries. Panchkula DC SS Phulia apprised the CM that possession had been offered to 5020 beneficiaries as on date. Hooda also directed to complete survey work on Indira Awas Yojna so that maximum beneficiaries could be covered under the scheme. Hooda also laid the foundation stone of administrative office building phase II with multi level parking in mini secretariat complex here which would be constructed at a cost of 41.62 crore.
