Student of Institute of the Blind celebrate Janmashtami

Members of Rotary club, Chandigarh, celebrated Janamashtmi with the students of the Institute for the Blind, Sector 26, here on Monday. Nearly 60 students of the school and over 40 members of Rotary participated in the celebrations.

A group of 20 students of the Blind School sang bhajans, and danced with enthusiasm. Member of the club, Sham Rawal, gave the students a brief insight into the significance behind celebrating Janamashtmi. ML Gupta, president, Rotary Chandigarh Shivalik said that all the members were indeed very happy to have got the opportunity to interact with these special children on this auspicious day.
