Sunday showers bring respite from heat

A 2.5 mm of rain on Sunday morning brought down temperature in the city significantly. The maximum temperature recorded on Sunday was 35.4° Celsius, which was 6° Celsius down as compared to maximum temperature on Saturday, which was 41.6° Celsius.

The Met has predicted cloudy weather with light rain for the next three days. According to the local meteorological centre, weather will be generally cloudy on Monday and during the subsequent days.

It has also predicted that the maximum and minimum temperatures will be little higher as compared to Sunday. The maximum temperature will remain around 38°Celsius for the next three days, while the minimum will be around 27° Celsius.

Similar weather has been predicted for the region. Meanwhile, Hisar remained the hottest in the region with maximum temperature recorded at 40° Celsius on Sunday.
