Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched on PGI campus

Initiated under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan of the central government, the cleanliness drive will take place in residential areas and official departments of PGI during October. Joshi said they just wanted to change the mindset of the people that cleanliness was to be done for the benefit of others. Giving a fresh and neat environment to fellow citizens should be their priority, Joshi added.

Satya Pal Jain leads 'SafaiAbhiyan' in Dhanas Colony

Former member of Parliament (MP) and BJP leader Satya Pal Jain on Sunday said the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi should ultimately culminate into cleanliness becoming a habit of each and every citizen so that India could become a neat and clean country.

Jain on Sunday led a cleanliness drive in Dhanas Tenements Colony organised by the residents of the area. They cleaned four blocks of the colony, including road and parks. Jain said the success of the drive would make life of every citizen more comfortable and save them from many fatal diseases.
