The medicine of love

I recently planted a beautiful plant in my balcony at home. I know the plant requires both sunlight and water other than soil to survive. This reminds me, in the same way, a patient suffering from any kind of disease requires love, care and great support for a speedy and happy recovery.

It should be our prime duty to spread love and warmth in the surroundings of a patient. Just care no less than a baby. This must have made my point simple.

An inspiring gesture of creating a loving and caring environment for patients may be a minor effort to make the patient feel comfortable and relaxed but it truly calls for a swift recovery.
As human beings, we need ‘green’ environment that gives us oxygen to live. We need balanced diet for a proper growth and development. On the other hand, an automobile needs petrol or diesel to run where as honey bees require flower nectar and a fish requires water. Similarly, love plays an equally important role for patients.

In today’s world, there are many deadly diseases and health problems that can attack anyone of any age group. But one should never get worried or tensed as it is futile to do so.
According to an old proverb, “Worries are not already born but society makes worries”. In other words, never ever give up.

Never lose hope. Have faith in God and remain motivated. Have a very positive mind. After all, how we think matters a lot. “On this earth there is nothing great but man; in man there is nothing great but mind”, said William Hamilton.

It must be ensured that the interest of a patient is diverted to something good and vibrant.
Be positive every moment which would lead to a better journey of cure. Give inspiring examples of those who have recovered from the same situation. This would boost their confidence and give them faith.
