Running has many scientific and physiological benefits.” In the year 2013, Gul Panag also became the ambassador of Pinkathon. Pinkathon is the International Run only for women. The main of the Pinkathon is to raise awareness about breast cancer and to encourage women health and fitness. Besides, she strictly follows a healthy diet.

Gul Panag contested election for the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat from Aam Aadmi Party tickets in 2014. Though her political stint didn’t prove to be successful but she made her presence known in the political circles during the election rallies.

On Gul Panag wedding with her long time boy friend Rishi Attari, Gul Panag was seen sitting in the sidecase of Royal Enfield that Rishi was riding. Even her baarat consisted of riders on over 20 Royal Enfield motorcycles some of which were driven by women.
