Three unidentified miscreants decamped with cash and valuables from the office of a travel agency in Sector 35 here on Saturday.

The burglars struck at the office of SKR Travel Agency and stole over Rs 1 lakh, 2,500 Canadian dollars, two laptops and a printer. They also ransacked the office before leaving.

Agency-owner Uday Pal Rathore told police that on March 8, three unknown people had come to his office and inquired about a holiday package. Rathore, in his complaint, claimed that the accused appeared to be intoxicated. The three started quarrelling with the owner over the package and left the office threatening of dire consequences.

The three came back around 7pm on March 9. Rathore was out and only the guard was in the office. The trio forced their way into the office and forcibly took the cash, laptops, printer, debit card and a credit card. According to Rathore, the accused had used his credit card at a petrol pump and liquor vend. The police are investigating the matter.
