Two held for robbing Dhanas resident

The local police arrested two persons on charges of robbing a Dhanas resident here on Sunday. The accused have been identified as Deepak Kumar and Rohit Kumar, both residents of Dhanas.

According to police, the accused, along with others, attacked Chandreshwar, a resident of Dhanas, and robbed him of his purse containing cash and some documents from Marble market, Dhanas.

The victim approached the police, after which a case of robbery and act done by several persons under sections 392 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at the Sector 11 police station.

The police are trying to arrest the remaining accused involved in the crime.
