Two IPS, 18 PPS officers transferred in Punjab

The Punjab government on Tuesday issued the transfer and posting orders of two Indian Police Service (IPS) and 18 Punjab Police Service (PPS) officers afresh with immediate effect.

The Punjab government on Tuesday issued the transfer and posting orders of two Indian Police Service (IPS) and 18 Punjab Police Service (PPS) officers afresh with immediate effect.

The two IPS officers with fresh postings are Kanwar Bahadar Singh (AIG/transport at the Chandigarh headquarters) and Sanmeet Kaur (AIG/personnel-2 at the Chandigarh headquarters).

The PPS officers with new postings as district community police officers at their new respective places include Baljit Singh (Amritsar commissionerate), Sukhdev Singh (Jalandhar commissionerate), Amarjit Singh (Ludhiana commissionerate), Shinder Singh (Bathinda commissionerate), Harjit Singh Pannu (Ferozepur), Dharmvir Singh (Faridkot), Amrik Singh (Moga), Gurdeep Singh (Jalandhar-Rural), Manjit Singh (Hoshiarpur), Jatinder Singh (Kapurthala), Barjinder Singh (Patiala), Raminder Singh (SAS Nagar) and Bahadur Singh (Sangrur).

The other PPS officers with fresh postings are Rajinder Kumar (AIG/incharge SB-1 Punjab at Chandigarh), Pritpal Singh (AIG/CID, Patiala), Harkamalpreet Singh (AIG/CID unit, Chandigarh), Jatinder Singh (AIG/CID-cum-director Training School at Chandigarh) and Sarbjit Singh (AIG, Punjab Police control room, Chandigarh).
