A day after a constable was thrashed at Kaimbwala, two persons misbehaved with a constable after he challaned them for drunk driving on Friday.

Police sources said constable Vikas Ali informed them that Pardeep Kumar and Amarjit Singh misbehaved with him near the Dusshera ground in Sector 46.

Ali was posted near the ground to oversee traffic when he saw two persons riding a two-wheeler without wearing helmets.
He signalled the two to stop, after which he challaned Kumar for negligent and drunken driving.

Kumar and his friend Amarjit, who were drunk, started misbehaving with Ali and later tore the challan slip. Ali contacted the police control room and the duo was arrested.During the medical examination, Kumar and Amarjit were found to be drunk.

A case was registered against them for manhandling a police official and deterring him from performing his duty.
