The Punjab government has launched the Udaan project to enhance the general knowledge (GK) of school students.
The project, to begin with, has been launched in 1,082 government schools for classes 6 to 12. Students would be provided sheets with information on various subjects, education minister Sikander Singh Maluka said here.
The government has so far imparted training to teachers of 445 schools, while the staff of 422 other schools would soon be trained to implement this project, the minister said.
Under the programme, 90 sheets would be provided during working days from July to December, each carrying 10 GK questions.
