UILS 5-year-law course results declared

Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has declared the results for the entrance test of BA/BCom LLB (Hons) 5-year integrated course conducted by the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh, Hoshiarpur and Ludhiana.

Dashmesh Singh Dhanoa (roll no 802345), Sagar Doon (roll no 802510) and Aman Singh (roll no 801404) have bagged the first, second and third rank in the entrance test, respectively, a PU spokesman stated.

As many as 4,768 students had appeared in the test of which 3,714 students qualified.

UILS on the PU campus has 120 seats each in its BA LLB (Hons) and BCom LLB (Hons) 5-year-integrated course, besides having some seats for foreign nationals/NRIs. UILS Ludhiana has 87 seats for its BA LLB (Hons) while UILS, Swami Sarvanand Giri, PU regional centre, Hoshiarpur, has 60 seats for the same course.

While the entrance test will account for 50% of the marks in exam, marks secured by a candidate in Class 12 will account for the remaining marks.
