The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leaders are of the view that the Union budget to be presented in the Lok Sabha on Thursday will have something good for all the sections of society. INLD state president Ashok Arora said that salaried class, farmers and traders had great expectations from the Central government and hoped that the budget would fulfill their aspirations.
Arora further hoped that aside from check on rising prices, the Modi government would also give relief to farmers, employees, traders, besides ensuring employment generation.
Meanwhile, the Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) also hoped that the budget would bring some relief for the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
HCCI chairman Vishnu Goyal said that he hoped that the budget would have enhancement in the central excise exemption limit from Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 3crore for MSMEs' better growth.
He further hoped that income tax exemption slab would be extended. He also hoped that the sick PSUs would be sold off or revived to get the production started in them which could give work to MSMEs.
