US honour for PU professor

Panjab University (PU) fellow and professor Bhupinder Singh Bhoop has been honoured with ‘Stat-Ease QbD Performance Award 2014’.

The award was given for his contribution and extensive research work on ‘nano-structured drug delivery systems’ using Quality by Design (QbD).
Bhoop was told about the award by founder president, Stat-Ease Inc., Minneapolis, USA Pat Whitcomb.

Besides the citation, the award carries grant of premier academic status to professor Bhoop and his research group at PU, which is considered to be worth US$ 7095.

Bhoop has more than 215 publications, 10 books, four patents and technology transfers of two marketed nano-based drug delivery products for serving the ailing patients to his credit.

He has also trained hundreds of industrial scientists on QbD under his direct guidance through onsite training seminars and workshops via conferences. Stat-Ease QbD perfor mance award 2014 is a sequel to numerous QbD awards like Pharma QbD excellence award 2012.
