US university announces new programes for Indian students

Missouri State University (MSU), US, on Wednesday announced the launch of its new programmes for Indian students. The university will offer courses under the umbrella of its three schools — College of Business, College of Natural and Applied Sciences, and College of Arts & Letters. The varsity, is trying to reaching out to students all over India, especially north India.

Talking about the benefits of studying at MSU, Kent D Thomas, assistant vice -president, international programmes, MSU, said, "MSU's flexible programmes allow students to choose from a multitude of options, which helps them to shape their education according to their career interests. After successful completion of their respective programmes, the students find excellent jobs in their fields of study."

Elaborating on the business programmes, he said, “MSU's College of Business is the largest in Missouri and the five surrounding states. The college has earned the highest level of accreditations for its programmes, which ensures that its students are well prepared to enter the job market."

The courses offerded by the varsity include accounting, finance, general business, management (administrative, human resources, international business and operations), marketing management and MBA. All degree programmes in the business unit are accredited fully by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.

“MSU business graduates are sought after by a large number of employers; more than 200 companies come to campus each year to recruit for recruitment,” said Thomas.
