VB recommends action against 3 officers

Haryana state vigilance bureau has recommended registration of criminal cases against three gazetted, seven non-gazetted officers and 10 others and departmental action against 11 gazetted and 13 non-gazetted officers as they had been found guilty in the investigations conducted by the bureau recently.

Haryana state vigilance bureau has recommended registration of criminal cases against three gazetted, seven non-gazetted officers and 10 others and departmental action against 11 gazetted and 13 non-gazetted officers as they had been found guilty in the investigations conducted by the bureau recently.


An official spokesperson said in a release on Thursday that 18 officials were caught red-handed recently while accepting bribe ranging between Rs 1,500 and Rs 45,000.

The accused were Makhan Lal Aggarwal, secretary, municipal committee, Nuh; Rajesh Kumar, clerk office of Haryana Roadways, Hisar; Rajender Kumar, patwari, Hansi, Hisar; Ashok Kumar Khatri, junior engineer, DHVPNL, Tigaon, Faridabad; Inder Singh, patwari, Gorakhpur, Fatehabad; assistant sub inspector Bhim Singh, police post government railway police, Ballabgarh, Faridabad; Ishwar Singh, a resident of Azad Nagar, Hisar was taking bribe on behalf of Jagdish Chander, senior accounts clerk, public works (building and roads) department, Hisar; Ranbir Singh, junior engineer and Naveen Kumar, clerk, DHVPNL, Badshahpur, Gurgaon; Baldev Raj, light inspector, municipal committee, Panipat; Om Parkash, patwari, Singhpura, Sirsa; inspector Munsi Ram, in-charge, district home guard, Kaithal; Om Parkash, patwari, Hodal, Palwal; Hitesh Kumar, clerk office of district town planner, Rohtak; Manoj Miglani, junior engineer, power department, Panipat; Balwan Singh, labour officer and Ashok Kumar, labour inspector, Sonepat.
