Haryana health and sports minister Anil Vij has directed revenue officials to provide him details of sale deeds registered at Cantt sub-registrar's in the past one year.
The orders came after residents complained of rampant corruption at the Naib Tehslidar's office after Speaking to authorities at the minister's weekly Open Darbar held at the PWD Rest House on Monday.
Vij also directed officials specify the number of sale deeds were executed with the municipal corporation's no objection certificates (NOC) and how many without it.
The session saw 327 residents seek redressal of their grievances.
Speaking about an extension of services of Sahabad based hockey coach Baldev Singh, Vij said that he would take up the matter with the senior sports ministry officials.
The minister also said the state would frame a policy to provide financial support to sportspersons in the state to ensure that they are not forced to migrate to other states. He added that stadiums would not be offered for holding social functions.
Nij said he had received complaints from municipal corporation employees about not being paid their provident fund money. "I will look into the matter," he said.
