Vivek High School launches its app

Vivek High School, Sector 38, launched its mobile application “Vivek High School App” here on Monday to augment faster communication between parents and the school

The application will give dayto-day infor mation to parents on important news, circulars and event updates. It has also updates right from the attendance records of the students to providing information of daily homework and topics taught along with the syllabus completed and pending.

The application also enables the parents to interact with the subject teacher, the achievements and the complaints.

HS Mamik, chairman of the school, said in such a fast pace life it had become important to introduce such application. The systems of education had changed during the course of time. “We have tried to keep this application more communicative and subjective which will help build a communication bridge between students, teachers and parents,” he said.

He said the complete schedule of upcoming examinations, formative and subjective assessments would be available for the review. Also, the progress of the child from time to time would be sent to the parents, he said.

Bani Doabia, a parent, said this application would empower parents to review the performance of their students regularly.
